Multi Strike Super Times Pay

International Game Technology (IGT) and Leading Edge Gaming have united two of their most popular video poker games to create a new hit for royal-flush seekers. The original two games are renowned for having multipliers, that is, a number by which winnings are multiplied. In the original Super Times Pay a mystery random multiplier will appear occasionally, multiplying winnings hands from 2x to 10x. The same holds true with the new combo Multi Strike Super Times Pay, but players will get the extra multiplier from the original version of Multi-Strike. In the original Multi-Strike Poker game the player will get a chance to play 4 consecutive hands if he completes a qualifying poker hand each step of the way. As the player advances into the next hand the multiplier for each hand increases until reaching an 8x multiplier at the final fourth hand. The new Multi-Strike Super Times Pay follows this same course, it is a 4 line game with a set multiplier for each hand and an occasional multiplier that will appear on any hand if the player places a 1-credit bonus bet for each hand. This creates a double multiplier, the Super Times Pay multiplier multipliers the Multi-Strike multiplier. So for example, if you are on the second hand which has a 2x multiplier and a Super Times Pay multiplier for 3x appears, then that hand will pay out 6x (2x3) the normal pay schedule.

Multi Strike Super Times Pay can be played with several video poker games:

Multi Strike Super Times Pay Poker also has another bonus feature. It is called The Free Ride card and is nothing like playing free slots. The Free Ride card allows players to play the next hand even if the current hand played does not get a qualifying paying hand. The Free Ride card will appear differently on each game and varies also if you have placed the bonus bet for Super Times Pay. Here’s a chart for the Free Ride card appearance on each game:

How to Play Multi Strike Super Times Pay

Multi Strike Super Times Pay Video PokerThe IGT manufactured this game on their Game King platform. Each casino that receives this machine can configure it to have only some or all of the games mentioned above. To begin playing select that game want you play and enter your money into the machine. Then select how many hands you want to play. Remember each hand has a different multiplier; the first hand has a set multiplier of 1x (which is as if no multiplier were there), the 2nd hand has a 2x multiplier, the 3rd has a 4x multiplier and the 4th hand an 8x multiplier. You may bet up to 5 coins per each hand. To have the Super Times Pay feature activated, bet a bonus bet equal to one extra coin per hand. A max bet on all 4 hands equals 24 credits.

The player must note that betting on all 4 hands does not guarantee they will all be played. The game will end if on any given hand no qualifying hand is completed.

The game follows the normal draw poker rules. 5 cards are dealt from a shuffled deck and the player gets to choose which cards to hold (if any). The cards held will NOT be held on the other remaining hands. This is not like other multi-hand poker games in which held cards are duplicated on all other hands. Each hand is played individually and will be dealt from a separate and complete deck of cards.

Once the player selects the cards he or she wants, then by pressing the DRAW button a new set of cards are dealt for the discarded ones. If you are playing Jacks or Better, at least a pair of Jacks or higher is needed on this hand to continue to the second hand, and so forth until you reach the final 4th hand.

Since all the games are played with their normal rules, you may apply a normal poker strategy for each. Feel free to visit our other articles on each of the games for an optimal video poker strategy. When playing Multi-Strike Super Times Pay poker with an optimal strategy the payback rates vary between 96% and 99.5%.
