Big Times Draw Poker

Big Times Draw Poker was released earlier in 2008 as an enhanced version of IGT’s multi-hand draw poker. The poker version of multi-hand poker denominated as Triple Play, Five Play and Ten Play comes in this version with a multiplier ranging from 2x to 10x, allowing the player to accrue more credits on winning hands. The multiplier is activated if the player wagers between 6 and 10 credits on each hand. The higher the credits per each hand, the higher the multipliers will be available. The multiplier is set according to the high card dealt on the initial 5-card draw. The lower the high card, the higher the multiplier. Each card has a multiplier value as we will see below.

Big Time Draw Poker is available for the following poker game family:

Big Times Draw Poker IGT’s Game King machine provides Big Times Draw poker in several denominations: $0.05, $0.10, $0.25, $0.50, $1 and $5. The machine, however, can be configured by the proprietary casino to include only some. Also, the game’s paytable will vary according to the casino’s configuration of the machine. For example, Bonus Poker can have a 6/5 pay table on lower denominations and then a 7/5 pay table for higher ones. Always check for the differences on the pay schedule for each denomination as it can make a difference in the end.

How to Play Big Times Draw

Big Times Draw poker has the same rules as the normal draw video poker game. The multiplier feature is set off automatically when you wager between 6 and 10 credits per hand. A table with the multiplier schedule is shown over the hands for guidance. The paytable is shown on both sides of the hands and will be updated if you get a multiplier during a hand. Note that not all hands get a multiplier, depending on the bet sometimes face cards (J,Q,K) as high cards get a 1x multiplier which is as if no multiplier were there at all. Here’s a review of Jacks or Better multiplier table:
